Just You & Me: Blogs

So, I spent the better part of Wednesday researching blogs. When I decided to add a blog component to our site it was strictly for business purposes. We need to draw traffic to our site. And, if you sit through the Wordpress tutorial (which I did because my wonderful Web developer is starting to cost a pretty penny and my Web-mentor girlfriend is too exhausted from being the crazy working/crafting/wife/mother-goddess that she is to get back to me about RSS or RRS or whatever, Blogrolling and Permalinks) blogs are a great way to increase traffic to one’s site. I mean, I knew what a blog was and that everyone was doing it but I had no idea what was out there. Obviously, there is lots. And, most of the good ones are written by *real* writters (myself not included). While our Grammy is an author, Mommy (that’s me) it seems is more of a glutton for punishment. I seem to be unendingly good at creating new and time consuming projects. Sure, I’ll take over your business and try to build a world-wide empire! Sure, I want to buy that house and do my second full-house remodel in a year! Sure, I’ll work in the class room two days a week! Sure, I’ll sew the soccer banner! Oh yeah, and by the way, let’s have just one more kid. What was I thinking? Please, bear with me. I’ll try to keep this regular (although it doesn’t matter right now because no one is reading it) and semi-interesting. And, just so you know, I still can’t figure out where the spell check is so you’ll just have to deal for now.
