Our Story
Originally founded as a publishing company in 1998 by author P. Taylor Copeland, Grammy Time books (now known as Just You & Me) was born out of Copeland’s frustrations in getting her first book published. In 2002, Copeland brought her daughter-in-law, Stephanie Hicks, on board to run the day-to-day operations of the company. This freed Copeland up to write and spend more time with her grandchildren and let Stephanie run with fresh ideas.

Just You & Me, the parent company of Grammy Time, was created in 2005. Grammy Time kept the books, while Just You & Me explored new dreams. In 2008 circumstances convinced Copeland to release the Grammy Time trademark and her publishing company joined its parent company, Just You & Me.

Today... still inspired by their muses – the kids in their lives, Mommy (Stephanie) and Grammy (P. Taylor) are continually working to come up with new and imaginative products and ideas. Because, in the end, all books and products created by Just You & Me are “for the kids you love… and grown-ups who care.”

Picture Books for Kids
Our children's books encourage interaction and one-on-one time between grandparents and grandchildren. P. Taylor Copeland captures this shared bond through simple whimsical verse taken from her own memories and experience. Suzi Bliss Kyle’s accompanying art perceptively illustrates the mood and shared excitement generated by the stories. The first book in this series, Just You and Me, was released in May 2002 and is now in its 4th printing; her second children’s book, Let’s Make-Believe, was released in October 2002 and is now in its 3rd printing.
